So many things have happened since December and the last time I updated the blog! :) I started my last semester of nursing school a couple of weeks ago, I went to Texas again last weekend to celebrate the birth of my love (and myself, I love that our birthdays are a day apart) and we got officially engaged! :) We have been talking about it and planning for about two months now, but it became official in Austin on January 17th of 2015. I'm so very excited for all of the planning and to see how everything will turn out. It is very hard to plan a wedding from halfway across the country and to have such a small amount of time to devote to details when I am in nursing school but with the help of his family I am more than positive we can pull everything off.
We could get married in a dumpster and I would love everything all the same. We've been really lucky to have the resources that we do to be able to put together this wedding for very little cost.
More important than the wedding, I'm so excited about this marriage. There has never been a doubt in my mind that this man is my heart and soul. He is so patient with me, even when I am not the most patient. He is calm, sweet, LOVING, and strong. He lifts me up when I cannot stand up alone, he is my laughter, and my light, and I absolutely cannot wait to be his wife. I'm more than lucky that he chose me to share in his life's journey.
